A warm and friendly welcome awaits you at The Haven Guest House, a high standard 3 star Bed & Breakfast accommodation close to the beach in Colwyn Bay, North Wales. Our quiet location, just a short stroll from the Bay’s unspoilt water-front, allows for both rest and study, so if you’re coming to Colwyn Bay on business, or just taking time out for a few days break, you can be sure of a peaceful stay and a good night’s rest. All our rooms have full central heating, and are warm and cosy in the winter, yet light and airy in the summer. Our Double en-suite and Standard Twin room have views of the sea. The Single en-suite is at the back of the house, and provides a quiet restful stay for the single traveller. Our Standard Twin room is not en-suite but has its own private bathroom close by. Bathrobes are provided. WIFI internet is provided free of charge. Where to find us: If arriving by car, The Haven couldn’t be easier to find! If travelling from the easterly direction, take Junction 21 off the A55 then take 3 left turns. If coming from the west, take Junction 21, turn right at the lights, then 2 left turns brings you into Canning Road. The Haven is the last house on the right hand side. Car Parking: There is ample off-road parking at the side of the property. Train: If arriving by train we are just 5 minutes walk from the station, or 2 minutes by taxi. Coach: If arriving by National Express coach, we advise that you take a taxi from the coach stop. A local taxi telephone number is 01492 533333. (Dales Taxis) Our garden: There is a small garden to the rear, consisting of a small lawned area, protected by trees. There is a small seating area where you can sit and relax with a cup of tea, and read, or just sit and enjoy watching the many birds that visit our garden. Amongst our daily garden visitors are a robin, blackbird, bluetit, chaffinch, dipper and more. Your Breakfast: Whatever your preferences regarding breakfast, you can be sure of good healthy home cooked food, prepared especially for you, and at a time that suits your schedule. (normally between 7am – 9am) giving you a good start to your day. There is a choice of menu, ranging from our hearty Full Welsh breakfast, to a quick light bite if you’re in a hurry. Special diets can be catered for - please ask when booking. We are also delighted to provide freshly baked bread, free range eggs, and fresh home-grown produce, when available. Places to eat: There are a number of places to eat locally, within a few minutes’ walk of The Haven. Please ask for further details on arrival.
