For just £25.00 per person you'll be served a delicious three course dinner and be entertained by local historian and personality Graham Roberts, who'll be taking us on a fun filled history tour of Colwyn Bay and the surrounding area.

The fifth Bay of Colwyn Business Network event "TIME IS MONEY!" took place on Tuesday 23rd March 2010 at the Kinmel Manor Hotel, Abergele.
 
"Time is Money!" event has been created by committee members of the Bay of Colwyn Business Network following the feedback received from you after the "New Year BIG BAY BOOST!". We want to ensure you get the chance to meet most (if not all!) of the other business men and women attending.
 
"Time is Money!" event cost is £5 per person.

Agile Nation offers fully funded opportunities to women and organisations within Conwy, Gwynedd, Anglesey and Denbighshire.  We offer 3 levels of Institute of Leadership & Management ‘ILM’ accredited training courses for aspiring team leaders through to senior managers together with a one day ILM accredited equality and diversity course which explores equality and diversity in the work place, managing flexible working and looks at the implications the Single Equality Bill may have on businesses.  In addition to these courses we are able to offer organisations 6 days free business consultancy which has an estimated value of £4000.00.

the third Bay of Colwyn Business Network meeting - we were amazed by the sensational turnout!

 

     

 

We were delighted to be joined by Mark Learmonth, Head of Programme for Business

at Coleg Llandrillo Cymru and Nia Jones, Centre Development Officer at the Conwy Business Centre.
We also welcomed Steve O'Donnell from Rollinson Smith Insurance Brokers

who gave us a short presentation on "Insurance issues that affect a small business"

 and Phil Owen, from North Wales Fire Service

who provided us with a presentation on "Fire Safety in the workplace".

The evening was dedicated to the work of local charity The Daniel Cleverley Trust.

We were delighted that the charities Founder, Hazel Cleverley joined us for the evening

and through the kind donations from our members we raised an amazing £323.

 

Thanks to Luna Flower Florists of Rhos-on-Sea for providing a wonderful prize of a

beautiful floral arrangement which was won by Adam Owens of Williams Denton Cyf.

It was lovely to see such a great turn-out of local businesses at the recent Bay of Colwyn Business Network event "Dinner & Networking", which was held at the Cinnamon Lounge Restaurant, Abergele Road, Colwyn Bay.

Over 95 of you attended and spent an enjoyable and relaxing evening with other local businesses.

We received a superb welcome from our host Abidur Raiman, Manager of the Cinnamon Lounge and his team. The food and service were excellent, so I know I'll be going there again very soon!

Mayor of Colywn Bay Cllr Abdul KhanThe Bay of Colwyn Business Network was launched on Tuesday 14th July 2009 at Colwyn Bay Football Club. Over 80 people representing a wide range of businesses across all sectors attended.

We were delighted to be joined for the evening by the Mayor and Mayoress of Colwyn Bay. Mayor Abdul Khan officially opened the Bay of Colwyn Business Network.

Two inspiring and motivational presentations followed by Paul Levy from Live Tech/Minisite and Teresa Carnell from TBC Marketing on "supporting your business through marketing".

Throughout the evening we had a vibrant exhibition of BAY BUSINESSES including Alpha Business Centre, Gamlins, Spillane & Co, Randstad, Inner Frame, Wellness Network, Colwyn Interiors, ENJO and Powlsons.
